Zina Correia Varugis is a practising Counsellor/Coach in the Mental Health Space. She is a Consultant/Empanelled Counsellor with Corporate Employee Assistance Service Providers across the country. Prior to joining the mental health space, she has been an educator at the graduate level in the subjects of Economics and Management. Her varied experience in administrative and leadership roles has contributed to the awareness of human psychology and behaviour and has equipped her as a guide, in recognizing and resolving issues of personal significance. Zina received a Master’s Degree in Economics followed by a Diploma in Management from the Bombay University. The pursuit for understanding human behaviour led her to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling & Guidance from Nirmala Institute of Education, Goa. Her passion for counselling enthused her further to certify as a Therapist in Choice Theory & Reality Therapy from William Glasser Institute, USA. The inspiration to continue in the field of human interaction and relationships catalysed in being certified as a Mediator through Edwards Academy, USA and CAMP, India.
